Took my daughter for her 6 month check up today. The staff was beyond professional and polite from beginning to end. My daughter can't wait for her next visit. Daisy the front desk receptionist was very welcoming. Yaya made sure her x ray experience was fun. Tori and Dr. Ghuman were very kind and explained everything. Clarissa was caring and made sure my daughter was very comfortable during her cleaning and placement of sealants. I want to thank Rodeo Dental for having staff that pays attention to detail and makes sure that both the parent and patient have a great experience. #DoTheRightThing

Zero star for the dentist! If I remember it correctly - Dr Gume or something. Lady dentist with NO patient quality relation attribute whatsoever! Rude and no social skills! First of all, it is weird enough that initial evaluation happens in a dental chair open in the hallway. First time for our family in this clinic. She “checked” our teeth and was giving information to one of the techs. After “checking” all of us, she just left without saying anything to us and left the tech (or manager?) to discuss with us her “findings” and what needs to be done and how much it’ll cost. Questions I had was relayed to her and answers were given by the office staff. When I had my cleaning, the tech (or hygienist) is first to “brush” or “work” on my teeth then she entered. Again, not saying anything or explaining anything - then started “working” on my teeth. Oh boy! I have never experienced being sprayed by that water in my face! She just didn’t seem to care!!! I can’t grasp what kind of manners this dentist has! After “working” on my teeth, she just left without saying anything!!! She needs a patient relations course immersion! I was waiting in the lobby when my daughter texted me that she wants to cry and just get out of there. I asked the front office staff to allow me to go back and check on her. My daughter told me that this dentist just shove the syringe on her mouth and started injecting her roughly! And I didn’t doubt that because of my experience. I asked the dental tech if they did numbing gel at least before injecting and she wasn’t sure with her answer. I stayed in the room for the rest of my daughter’s procedure. I am pretty sure the tech has told the dentist about my concern because when she came back, I heard her asking my daughter how she feels and when my daughter didn’t reply to her immediately, she even had the audacity to tell her that she won’t know what’s going on in her brain (same time pointing on her head) if she doesn’t tell her. I just looked at my daughter who’s teary eyed and nodded to hear signaling that we’ll just have to get this thing down and over with, leave the place and never come back. I am a medical practitioner and this dentist’s attitude is very subpar. I cannot say that this is cultural because good patient relation is essential in this field. As a medical professional, it is her duty to explain to the patients her findings and her plan of care - treatments and recommendations which she deem needed by the patient. You don’t leave those things for the office manager to explain! Unless otherwise the manager is also a dentist! The rating is solely for the dentist! The staff are nice and friendly. Place is nice and pleasantly-looking for the pediatric patient population.
